Advanced Oxidation Technology (AOT) is a patented, award winning water treatment system, providing a non-chemical alternative to water purification. A safer and greener option compared with traditional chemical water treatment, AOT has been proven to kill 99.999% of Pseudomonas and Legionella bacteria and is ideal for pre-commissioning cleaning and general water treatment.
Suitable for workplaces, public buildings – such as hospitals and nursing homes – facilities where water is used as part of the manufacturing process, and leisure spaces, AOT has a very small footprint and can be used to purify water for a range of applications, including cooling towers, HVAC systems, sanitation, plumbing and drinking water.

- Cost effective
- Instant and safe
- Proven to kill 99.999% of Legionella and Pseudomonas
- Reduced environmental impact
- Very small footprint
- Used as a gatekeeper to prevent Pseudomonas entering systems at construction stage
AOT chemical-free water purification explained
AOT is a photocatalytic water purifier that greatly reduces bacterial levels in the water, using a patented, chemical-free technology inspired by nature’s own way of purifying water.
A specific frequency of light together with photocatalytic semi-conductor surfaces produces free radicals – just like nature does with sunlight. These radicals are highly reactive so they instantaneously break down harmful micro-organisms and other pollutants. The radicals exist for only a few milliseconds, which means they have no possibility of leaving the closed reaction chamber in which they are generated. The entire process is instant and adds no chemical by-products to the system water.
AOT units, when positioned and sized correctly, produce a log five reduction in Legionella bacteria levels within the water that passes through it.
NB: The correct and most effective position for each water system may vary and it is recommended that a survey is carried out to ascertain the ideal location for the AOT to be sited.
