AOT for water fountains and water features
Water fountains and water features are often breeding grounds for Legionella, Pseudomonas and other bacteria, as water can lay stagnant for long periods of time. Non-chemical water treatment, AOT, has proven in UK trials to kill 99.9% of bacteria in water passing through the unit, treating and preventing the fouling and potential illness caused by waterborne pathogens.
The technology has a very small footprint and adds no harmful by-products to the water, reducing the need monitoring and the workload involved in handling chemicals, dosing water and managing dosing equipment. A reduction chemicals is particularly beneficial to outdoor water fountains and water features, which can also be home to fish, birds and other wildlife.
