Hygiene is a key consideration for drinking water and general sanitation, plus building services, such as air conditioning, cooling towers and heating. Ensuring water hygiene starts with good water system design at the construction stage, through to pre-commissioning cleaning and on-going maintenance to prevent legionella.
Guardian Water Treatment is a water hygiene specialist, delivering a range of water hygiene and treatment products and services designed to ensure clean drinking water and keep HVAC systems running smoothly and efficiently. We can consult at the construction phase to create inherently hygienic water systems and then provide maintenance to prevent legionella and other water borne bacteria. All works are carried out in accordance with the guidelines laid out in the Approved Code of Practice L8.
For existing water systems, Guardian delivers Legionella risk assessments, monitoring and inspections.
All of our clients have access to GuardianCare, an online reporting system that enables works relating to a specific site to be viewed in real-time. No more waiting weeks for paperwork to arrive – all relevant documents, certificates, engineers’ work sheets or any other information can be viewed on-screen and printed instantly.
Hevasure corrosion monitoring
Hevasure protects expensive HVAC assets and reduces risk by continuously monitoring the parameters that cause corrosion and system failure. By flagging up any issues before corrosion occurs; such as fluctuations in oxygen levels and the presence of bio-film; water hygiene is improved and potentially damaging conditions can be identified early-on.
Other Guardian Water Hygiene services include tank refurbishment and replacement, remote monitoring and on-going maintenance. We work directly with building owners and for some of UK’s leading Facilities Management providers.
