Guardian Water Treatment’s very own Steven Booth will be giving a seminar in the Headline Theatre at CIBSE’s Build2Perform. Taking place on the 21st November at 12.45, Steven will be discussing the current BSRIA guidelines for HVAC water treatment and whether they are producing the desired outcomes.
Covering pre-commissioning cleaning through to on-going system maintenance, Steven will highlight a range of issues, including an over-reliance on sampling, water wastage during the flushing stages and the general industry resistance to monitoring.
Drawing on recent round table discussion, where Guardian, alongside its certified partners, Hevasure and other representatives from industry, discussed the current state of water system management in the UK, Steven will provide an insight into current industry issues. He will highlight how a better understanding of how to use the guidelines and the adoption of real-time system monitoring could make significant head-way in the fight against corrosion and bacteria.
Steven will ask, ‘is there a case for better, more sustainable practices that extend system life, prevent corrosion and cut costs overall?
Guardian will be exhibiting alongside Hevasure at Build2Perform. The two-day event takes place at London Olympia from the 21st to 22nd November.
