Steve Munn, MD for Guardian’s certified partner, Hevasure, will be presenting a CPD focusing on preventing corrosion in closed-circuit HVAC systems at this month’s Build2Perform.
Taking place on the 22nd November at 9.30am, Steve will examine how corrosion damage manifests itself in closed heating and chilled water systems, what causes this corrosion and how it can be prevented through good design and construction, correct commissioning procedure and thorough on-going maintenance.
The CPD will highlight the important role continual condition monitoring has to play in preventing corrosion, focusing on the Hevasure system which provides real-time, 24/7 data throughout a water system’s life – from pre-commissioning cleaning, through to fit out, handover and beyond.
Steve will also examine the shortcomings in current industry best practice, which is open to interpretation and, since it provides only a snap-shot view, can miss critical events such as pressure loss or leaks.
Hevasure will be exhibiting alongside Guardian at Build2Perform. The two-day event takes place at London Olympia from the 21st to 22nd November.
