On Line Chemical Cleaning

Guardian Water Treatment has recognised that closed systems which have degraded over a period of time, usually because of lack of a recognised water treatment programme require a different solution.

The Problem
Closed systems that have been running for several years without a recognised water treatment programme become prone to sludge and high levels of suspended solids within a system. This can lead to blockages of the low flow parts of the system. This results in no heat/cooling transfer around the system and a far lower level of efficiency.

These buldings are normally fully occupied making it impossible for the sytems to be taken out of service and cleared the conventional way. (See Pre-Commission Cleaning)

The Solution
Guardian has a range of mechanical side stream filters that can alleniate the problems encountered.

The mechanical filters when used in conjunction with a suitable, chemical cleaning agent continually remove debris from a system over a set period of time.

The units can be hired for a set period of weeks or fitted permanently to a given system depending on the clients requirements.

Guardian would always recommend that the sidestream filter be used in conjunction with a closed recovery system to eliminate water losses.

The Guardian series of cyclone filtration systems are designed for side stream filtration of closed circuit water systems to removal of suspended solids and sludge.
