Equipment
The equipment offered by Guardian, supplements the service activities
making Guardian the complete and comprehensive providers of water treatment
services.
We offer the hire and outright purchase option for hydro-cyclones that help the client to clean water systems, when corrosion has occurred, or maybe calcium carbonate scale has formed, both of these mechanisms form suspended solids in the shape of debris and dirt. The technology of cyclonic separation can be applied to new water systems, post commissioning, existing closed systems, open circuit cooling systems.
Domestic water systems infected with high levels of bacterial infections such as pseudomonas and legionella, can be treated on line with extremely efficient biocides such as chlorine dioxide, which is effective as a biofilm remover. Also chlorine dioxide has the benefit of approval for use in potable water. Chlorine dioxide is best generated on site from precursor chemicals using a generator such as the one shown in figure 2.
In the parts of the country where hard water is prevalent, softening (or base exchange) is the usually accepted method to pre-treat the make up so that any adverse properties such as the scale forming potential have been eliminated.
Reverse Osmosis is another technique for the pre-treatment of feed water. Guardian offer the design, installation and commissioning of all types of pre-treatment plant. Guardian offer maintenance contracts for all types of pre treatment plant. The benefits of the planned maintenance programme ensures that it performs to the maximum benefit, of our client.
Open circuit cooling systems require control of many aspects simultaneously such as;
- Conductivity (and hence Total Dissolved Solids)
- REDOX potential
- Pre bleed of system water
- Timed additions of biocides, including the secondary biocides & any alternating
biocides in use.
Guardian offer the latest in microprocessor based controllers, these monitor the physical conditions of the system water, and make adjustments to the system conditions, as changes occur. In conjunction with controlling system water quality, the controllers ensure that chemical dosing pumps operate for the correct time making additions to the system when appropriate.
Guardian offer the latest hi-tech solution to all your open circuit control issues. We offer replacement of existing pumps and/or controllers and the design of new installations. Our experienced engineers install all equipment to the exact specification to meet the requirements of the client.
